(Ottawa) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be visiting Canada this week.
The Ukrainian leader will head to Canada after his visit to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, then to Washington, where he will meet with President Joe Biden.
More details on his trip to Canadian soil must be provided during the week, but according to the information that The Press was able to confirm, Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Toronto and Ottawa.
In the federal capital on Friday, he will deliver a speech to the Canadian Parliament, said sources speaking on condition of anonymity, not authorized to discuss details publicly.
Canada was the only G7 country yet to be visited by the leader since Russia’s large-scale invasion began.
However, President Zelensky addressed Canadian parliamentarians by videoconference in March 2022.
