The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) revealed the official finalists for their 2023 edition on Thursday.
Montreal designers and brands Eliza Faulkner, LAMARQUE, Silk Laundry and École de Pensiere are in the running for the Designer of the Year award (women’s and men’s fashion categories).
Established 10 years ago, the CAFAs celebrate emerging talent in the Canadian fashion industry, although established brands like Lambert, Rudsak, Quartz Co. and Frank And Oak slip into this year’s list of nominees.
The winners will be announced at the gala which will take place on October 14 in Toronto.
